Life insurance helps provide financial protection for your family and loved ones. If something were to ever happen to you, life insurance would pay a death benefit to your beneficiaries to help them pay expenses if you were no longer around. You can also opt for additional voluntary life insurance.
OneMain automatically enrolls eligible team members in basic Group Term Life insurance equal to one time your base salary and Business Travel Accident (BTA) insurance for up to five times your base salary at no cost to you. Your initial beneficiary designation must be made during enrollment. Please have your dependent’s information (i.e., Social Security number, date of birth and home address) available at that time.
Supplemental Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage for yourself and your family is available at additional cost. Team members may select supplemental spouse life or dependent life without selecting supplemental team member life coverage.
If you are selecting supplemental coverage, you may be required to complete Evidence of Insurability (EOI) online during enrollment. Once completed and submitted to Lincoln Financial Group, a medical exam may be required. The Lincoln Financial Group’s decision is mailed to your home address on file. If approved, your selections and premium will be updated for the next applicable pay period. At annual enrollment, you may opt in or increase one level without evidence of insurability, up to the guaranteed issue (applies to team member and spouse coverage). New hires may opt up to the guaranteed issue without EOI.
