OneMain is making several updates to benefits for 2027. Review the changes below so you know what to expect and what to consider during Annual Enrollment. These changes are effective January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027.
Beginning January 1, 2027, Anthem will replace UnitedHealthcare (UHC) as OneMain's medical carrier for the UHC PPO Plan, Enhanced CDHP Value Plan, and Base CDHP Savings Plan. Team members enrolled in one of these UHC medical plans for 2026 will be automatically enrolled in the corresponding Anthem plan for 2027 if no changes are made during Annual Enrollment. Anthem will use the broad BlueCard PPO network nationally, except for the Traditional Network in Utah. Anthem members will also have access to LiveHealth Online Tobacco Cessation beginning in 2027.
If you're enrolled in one of the UHC PPO or High Deductible plans for 2026, your election will transition to the corresponding Anthem plan automatically unless you make a change during Annual Enrollment. If you're enrolled in the Surest CoPay Plan, you will be mapped to the UHC Surest CoPay Plan for 2027. During Annual Enrollment, review the plan you're defaulted to, confirm that your doctors and facilities participate in the network that applies to you, and review your 2027 cost.
If you are enrolled in the UHC PPO Plan, Enhanced CDHP Value Plan, or Base CDHP Savings Plan for 2026, OneMain will automatically enroll you in the corresponding Anthem plan for 2027. You should still review your default plan during Annual Enrollment and make any changes that are right for you. If you are enrolled in the Surest CoPay Plan for 2026, you will be mapped into the UHC Surest CoPay Plan for 2027.
Anthem will use the broad BlueCard PPO network nationally. In Utah, the Traditional Network will apply.
Review the Anthem plan you are defaulted to, confirm your preferred doctors and facilities participate in the network, and review your 2027 cost.
Anthem members will also have access to Total Health, Total You Select, Anthem's care management program. The Sydney app will give members tools to search for and find care, track deductibles, and access ID cards.

Several medical plan nameswill change for 2027:

Deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums for the Anthem Enhanced High Deductible Plan and Anthem Base High Deductible Plan will increase for 2027. Emergency room (ER) visits under all Anthem plans will have a new $250 copay, plus the applicable deductible and coinsurance. Specialty prescription drug coinsurance will increase to 30% across all plans; for the High Deductible Plans, the 30% coinsurance applies after the deductible is met.
Review the 2027 plan details carefully, including the updated deductible and out-of-pocket maximums, emergency room costs, and specialty prescription drug costs, so you understand how your out-of-pocket costs may change.
